Frequently asked questions
We ship worldwide using standard international shipping terms. We can ship FOB (Istanbul) or CIF as needed, and other Incoterms (EXW, DDP, etc.) can be arranged by agreement. (Remember, Incoterms® define how costs and risks are allocated between seller and buyer.) Typical export markets include Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. By sea freight, transit times vary by destination. For example, sea transit to US ports is on the order of 18–32 days (roughly 3–5 weeks), while shipments to Europe are usually quicker (often 1–2 weeks by sea or truck).
Incoterms: We usually use FOB (port of loading in Turkey) or other agreed terms. Incoterms® clarify who handles shipping, insurance, customs, etc.
Export Regions: We regularly ship to Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and beyond. Our proximity to Europe (Turkey is the world’s 4th-largest textile exporter) means fast service there, while overseas orders are sent by container or air freight.
Transit Times: Roughly speaking, plan on 2–4 weeks for sea delivery (e.g. Turkey→USA: ~18–32 days; Turkey→Europe often shorter). Expedited air freight is available for smaller sample shipments if needed.
We cater to B2B buyers with secure international payment options. Payment can be made by bank transfer (wire) or electronic fund transfer (EFT) in major currencies (USD, EUR, etc.). For large orders or special projects, a Letter of Credit (LC) is also welcome. We typically invoice in USD or EUR, though TRY (Turkish Lira) is possible if agreed.
Standard payment terms are negotiable but often fall in the Net 30–60 days range. Advance deposits (e.g. 20–30% up front) may be requested for first orders or large customized runs, as is common practice. We do not accept credit cards for large B2B orders; bank transfer is the usual method.
Because we sell wholesale, most orders are cut to size or made-to-order. All fabric is inspected and carefully packed before shipment. Buyers should inspect upon arrival and report any issues immediately. We require any claims for damaged goods, missing items, or manufacturing defects to be reported in writing within 10 days of delivery. For example, if a shipment arrives short or the fabric is damaged in transit, notify us right away so we can arrange a credit or resend.
Returned goods are not generally accepted for buyer’s remorse or after goods have been cut; all custom orders are final sale. However, for verified defects (wrong product or actual faults), we will work to make it right – typically by sending replacement rolls or issuing a credit. Note: Slight color/dye-lot variations are industry-normal and not considered defects, so please review samples (see below) before placing large color-sensitive orders.
All our fabrics are made in Turkey, a global textile hub. We use high-quality yarns and finishes. Most sheer and blackout fabrics are 100% polyester or polyester-rich blends. Some fabrics may include polyester/cotton or polyester/linen blends. All our fabrics comply with international standards, and OEKO-TEX® certification is available on request.
